Do base_max_searches and max_searches_per_cpu settings take effect on both search head and indexer?

Do these settings take effect on both SH and indexer?

# the maximum number of concurrent searches per CPU
max_searches_per_cpu = 1

# the base number of concurrent searches
base_max_searches = 6

[cpride_splunk]

These are limits on the number of searches that the SH will start. They do not currently apply on the indexers. (Unless you are starting searches directly on an individual indexer.)
