I'm getting no results when I run any queries in splunk.

The following error I'm getting.Can you please help me in this?

• Distributed: Unable to distribute to peer named X.X.X.X:8089 at uri=X.X.X.X:8089 using the uri-scheme=https because peer has status=2. Please verify uri-scheme, connectivity to the search peer, that the search peer is up, and an adequate level of system resources are available. See the Troubleshooting Manual for more information.

Hi @rahul2gupta,

you have an infrastructural problem on you Splunk, your search head cannot reach the Indexer.

So check:

• if the Indexer is up and running,
•  the network is ok
• if the certificate for SSL is still valid.

If you don't solve, open a case to Splunk Support.

Hi @gcusello ,

A day before this error, we had a patching on universal forwarder , indexer and search head. I restarted the splunk and it fixed.

Just curious to know,

You said the network is OK? -- could you please elaborate.
