Correlation rule for Nessus Vulnerability scanner and IDS alerts

Does anyone has created any correlation rule between Nessus Vulnerability scanner and Paloalto IDS.

We are getting daily Device Vulnerability report from Nessus. We need to correlate the same against Paloalto IDS.

The issue is that Palo has only signature name NOT CVE or CVSS. Most of the signature name and the Vulnerability description doesn't match as well.

Our goal is to look in to Palo IDS signature pattern and then correlate against to Nessus to see which all host are open to the vulnerability and if its a high priority/pci host, then send an alert to patching team to initiate the patching.

Your valuable answers are much appreciated.
