Connection Issue regarding Splunk SDK with Splunk instance on Linux enviornment

Hi, I stuck in connection error message as follows: (indicated in Italic font below...)

The following error message occurs when running Splunk SDK in WebLogic server installed in Linux.
However, no problem arises when running Splunk SDK in Tomcat 6.x server.

I know in such a short notice, expecting quick trouble shooting answers. Any help?

I hate this stuff, have to deal with it all too often.

Your splunk head uses https. Weblogic is connecting as a client to the splunk head.

The splunk heads SSL certificate is not trusted by the Weblogic client, hence the error.

This can be because of several things

1. The certificate is invalid ( for example, it has the wrong CN, its expired etc etc )
2. The certificate has not been imported into the Weblogic keystore

If you eliminate 1 ( you can connect to the splunk head URL in a browser on the Weblogic server and have no certificate errors), then you just need to export the splnuk heads certificate, and import it into the java keystore.
