Hello!

Can All-In-One be set as a search peer?

Although the status is set to UP when set, the search returns 0 results. Is it due to different versions?

Hi @HiroshiSatoh
when you say "Search Peer" are you speaking of an Indexer Cluster node?
if this is your need, it was possible until version 6.x, then NO because searches on data of the same Indexer haven't any result and you need at least one Search Head.

Ciao.

gcusello, thank you.
What I want to do is a simple distributed search.
I want to search the Splunk index used by ALLINONE from another Splunk.

Port confirmed 8089. Index information is displayed on the SH side.

Hi @HiroshiSatoh,
sorry I misunderstood!
yes, it's possible, as you said, configuring Distributed Search in in the other Servers that works as a Search Head.

Ciao.
