After upgrading to Splunk 6.2.2, when I create a new lookup definition, why can't I select it in the automatic lookup menu?

Hi,

after updating to 6.2.2 I tried to set up a new automatic lookup. I've created the lookup definition, but I can't select it in the automatic lookup menu afterwards. Only dnslookup, guid_lookup and sis_lookup are available. Before the update I did not have this problem....

hi HeinzWaescher,
what you have to do is to
Share the lookup definition with all apps
by doing so you will see the lookup defintion in the automatic lookup that you can select

thanks

Hi HeinzWaescher

I advise you to recommence creation of your lookup table , lookup definition and automatic lookup.
After creating each lookup , make sure that you have set his permission to Global (very important).
