24 hour time in search, with US date format?

I'd like to use the 24 hour time format in search results (en-GB localization), but retain the US date format mm/dd/yyyy.

Any suggestions how that can be accomplished?

My understanding is that there is a feature request in for this but it has likely not bubbled to the top. I would suggest putting in your own feature request, which will add some weight to the priority of getting this into the product.
