Data in splunk ITSI

How can we get the existing data in our environment into Splunk ITSI ?

Example.

1.Can we pull data from any other data collector from HP , BMC to Splunk ITSI ?
1. Can we integrate with other CMDB and pull the topology data to Splunk ITSI ?

Also how data is stored in ITSI DB (Any specific Doc ) ?

ITSI is an application on top of splunk enterprise.

• if you can send the data to splunk, you can use it in ITSI
• you can use any type of data collection to import the topology of your deployment, from a search to a csv import, and there are also some automatic detection tools provided. In ITSI we call them entities and services, and their definitions are stored in a kvstore.
