Where does Splunk Technical Assessment App should be exactly installed

I certainly know it's a Splunk Premium App mostly managed by Splunk PS but yet I have this question, that in which instance should the STA be exactly installed.

I would suggest installing it on DMC and you would be able to get the results you are looking for.
