How do I open a port in Splunk via Web Gui on a server

How do I open a port in Splunk via Web Gui on a server. So it can access my License Server?

you are trying in the wrong place. 

Go to settings -> Licensing -> provide your license master details.

Then the server will connect to the license master.

This is the screen after you type in port 8089 & say next. It won't let you pass the screen asking for source type after I choose "new". Thx

Port 8089 should be open between your Splunk server and License server. Do the telent in splunk server to check the connectivity. If it is not opened check is there any firewall blocking the port

Thank u. Am trying to do this via GUI. While opening up the port it asks for sourcetype which I don't know what that is please advise.
