Getting error when trying to connect Tableau 2020.2 to Splunk 8.0.3 using Splunk ODBC Driver.
Hi
Can I connect Tableau 2020.2 to Splunk 8.0.3 version using the Splunk ODBC driver? I have installed a 64 bit Splunk ODBC driver since Tableau is also 64 bit but getting error " "Thanks!
Error "Error with HTTP API, error code: Couldn't connect to server"
Someone just told me that the error is because "The Splunk ODBC connector is compatible with Splunk Enterprise 5.x and 6".

Thanks for inputs.
One quick question : Is there any configuration required at Splunk side to enable us to access the tables in tableau.
I was able to connect to Splunk Server of my organization using Tableau but do not see the tables.

Splunk's ODBC driver was unavailable for a while, but is back and is compatible with Splunk 8.
Did you follow the instructions at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/ODBC/3.0.1/UseODBC/Installation and verify the installation as per https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/ODBC/3.0.1/UseODBC/Verifyinstallation ?
Check the troubleshooting document at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/ODBC/3.0.1/UseODBC/Troubleshooting
