Change the roles

Hello! I upload a Splunk Enterprise and after create the new user with power and user roles. I want to add data, but I can not do it, cause in the home app nothing like the Add DATA option. Does anybody know what to do?

Hi,

You need to Add the additional   edit_monitor capability  to the custom role in order to see the Add-data option in the GUI.

This capability will not be available for Power and user roles. It is only for Admin role.
