I'm unable to install the Splunk Enterprise Security app (version 4.0.0).
I'm trying to install using file (from UI), the process goes on to stage "Installing new apps" in the UI.
I see later on in the messages tab that I need to restart, so I restart, but when it's up again, it seems the install was not successful, and under the app tab, I'm asked again to re-install app...
From looking in the logs(esinstaller2.log), last line is:
INFO STAGE COMPLETE: "install_apps"
What am I doing wrong?

Try going to searching and reporting and running the following search
| testessinstall

When I run it.. seems that it hangs.. with no results...
