Splunk App for Enterprise Security: If I add a new custom threatlist, will it match old events too or only new events after creating the threatlist?

Hi,
I have a question about custom threatlists in Splunk App for Enterprise Security.

If I add a new custom threatlist, can it match old events too (that already exist when I created the threatlist) or only the new events that will arrive after the threatlist creation?

It depends on the scope and context of the search. Threat list matching is based on searches, so if you want to look at old data with new context, you just need to search for it.
