Hi,

we are currently using https://github.com/splunk/splunk-library-javalogging to transport log message via hec from our cloudfoundry business applications to splunk.
However we are facing some problem with that right now. It seems, that pull request #72 (https://github.com/splunk/splunk-library-javalogging/pull/72) will fix our problem.

What can we do, in order to get that pull request merged into the main version?
Should we just raise a regular splunk case for this?

Thanks
- Lorenz

Hi @HansWurscht - sorry for the delayed response. As of version 1.8.0 we should have addressed the issue in PR72.

In general, please reach out to [email protected] or file a support ticket to raise issues like this.

Hi,

thanks for your response!

How should i file those support cases exactly, so they reach you?

Splunk First Level Support doesn't accept cases about those open source splunk extensions, because they are not part of Splunk Enterprise ...

Thanks!
