We have an application that sends error alerts via email but does not write to a log file. Is there a way for me to get them into Splunk? We are on the clous version.

You'll need a forwarder on premises that can forward into splunk cloud.
The application which is hosts the application sending email alerts, which OS it's hosted on?
It is hosted on Centos.
