Python helper function not working as expected on Splunk cloud 7.2

Hi All,
I have an add-on which is working perfectly in Splunk enterprise 7.2 and no issues were there. When customer installed the add-on in Splunk Cloud the python helper function the method helper.get_sourcetype() started returning None. The remaining functions are returning as expected for example.
1. helper.get_input_stanza_names().
2. helper.get_input_type()
