Map roles to SAML groups using Python SDK

Hello

Been trying to figure out a way to automate role Mapping to SAML groups and it looks like we can create roles using sdk but can't map them to the SAML groups.

Gone through this http://dev.splunk.com/view/python-sdk/SP-CAAAEJ6#createrole to see if I am missing something here.

Anyone has any ideas on how to do this or if they have done this before can you please point to what am I missing here. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Note: I can make a curl call to do this like below and use subprocess to get this done. But looking for a more pythonic way to achieve this.

https://localhost:8089/services/admin/SAML-groups -d name=testrole -d roles=testrole"
