How to automate export results and specify file location using Splunk UI?

Is there any way to automate export results and specify the file location (FTP/SCP to another server/machine, not in SPLUNKHOME) using SPLUNK UI?
Splunk SDK is capable. But in this scenario, it's not possible.

The easiest solution to achieve this I guess would be to create a scripted alert which will move the results file to your ftp. Have you thought about this?

This solution would require you to script the solution, but it should only be something like move this file (given as a parameter in the script) to this location. The rest is done by a normal alert in Splunk UI
