How can i populate a lookup from python using the splunk sdk

Hey there i am trying to do some data manipulation on some kvstore lookup table i have and i want to use python for it so i managed to get the information to python using the sdk but i can't find anywhere how to use the sdk to push data back into the lookup.

any help would be much appreciated!
