Splunk Cloud Platform - Why am I unable to add an app? - login error

Inside the cloud trial I'm trying to install:

It opens pop-up with: "Enter your Splunk.com username and password to download the app."

Entering the my credentials returns: "Incorrect username or password"

I tried to add new user (with app role) with the same result.

Anybody encountered this?

@uicoded - Make sure to use the username (not email) while installing App on Splunk.

* If you don't know the username, then you can find the username under the profile from splunk.com. That's where you will be able to log in with email as well.

hi, I just installed splunk and was trying to download  add splunk add-on for cisco WSA and got the same error: my username and password are both correct.

@newguy2024 - Try username, instead of email. Check your username on Splunk.com.
