Splunk Cloud Analytics view object permissions- Why am I getting this error?

I have a fresh Splunk Cloud instance with the AWS Add on for AWS App installed.

When I try to load the Analytics view I get a "You do not have permissions to access objects of user=sc_admin" error.

I've given sc_admin all the privilege.

What role(s) are you signed in with?  If sc_admin is not among them then that would explain it.

Hi Rich,

I'm logged in as sc_admin and gave that user all roles and all rights.

I also gave it ownership over everything (probably overkill). Still no luck

I saw an issue similar to this in a support post for Splunk Enterprise.

@mvhyyc Hello,

You can try to contact Splunk support number and ask them to do a rolling restart or manually check your role permissions on SH since we doesn't have back end access to those ones.

Btw, Is your authentication tied to a SAML/AD provider?

Thanks
