How can one delete search macros?

I have some saved Search Macros which I'd like to delete.  How is this done?

Go to settings->Advanced search->Search macros

You will have a delete button on the right for the macros you have the right to

I created one which I was able to delete.  Then, observing that many I could not delete listed my id as the owner, I created another macro to verify its owner, and saw not only that the owner was the same for it as for those without the delete buttons, but also that I could not delete this new macro.  What am I missing?

I don't know which kind of cloud sh part you have, but this sound like SHC?
If those are in SHC and them are deployed from SHC Deployer then you must remove those from Deployer + apply shcluster-bundle and then removed local copies if there are still one left.
