Bizarre Error When Installing App

When uploading an app to our prod Splunk Cloud environment,  I don't see any errors, but when installing it, I got the following error -

<App name> could not be installed. Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "..." is not valid JSON

I then uploaded the same app to our dev Cloud environment, and uploading AND installing went completely fine.

Does anyone know what the issue might be? The structure of the app is as follows -

App > default > app.conf, datetime.xml, props.conf, transforms.conf

Thank you in advance.

If this installation works correctly in another scp, then it’s time to create support ticket to splunk. Obviously there is something weird in your stack where you are trying to install it.
One thing what you could try is 1st reboot your scp and then try it again..
