Profile docker based java application

I have a requirement to install AppD java agent on a product running on docker. 

Before doing that I want to try with a sample demo Docker application ( java ) and check the metrics in the controller. 

Iam looking for java agent and machine agent metrics too. 

can you please give me pointers ?
