Is it possible to configure the apache virtualhost settings for the php agent to use to use the linux environemnt var for hostname --> $HOSTNAME  or something to the affect of $HOSTNAME - virtappname

php_value agent.nodeName frontend-node1

We have a common apache httpd conf file that gets edited and then rolled out to the cluster. All other php config settings are the same except the hostname used for each virtual app.

Hi Richard,

I believe we can use the ${ENVVAR} substitution syntax in this case. So you could do:

php_value agent.nodeName ${HOSTNAME}

Assuming that HOSTNAME is in the environment variables for the Apache process.
