Installing .Net Agent for Linux in Container

Hello,

I am currently experimenting with AppDynamics. I'm trying to install .Net agent for Linux in Container. I followed the steps from the 'Use a Dockerfile' section in this tutorial(https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO21/Install+the+.NET+Agent+for+Linux+in+Containers).

I built the image and I got HTTP error 401 when running the container.

I did some googling and think that I am missing the cert since I omitted this part of the Dockerfile.

How do I get the 'on-premises cert'?

Hello @N.Yusof,

I also found this article about Certs: https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO21/Controller+SSL+and+Certificates

Let us know if @Mario.Morellis reply or the documentation helped out.

Hi Nazif

For On-Premise Controllers it should be in this location

<CONTROLLER_HOME>/appserver/glassfish/domains/domain1/config/cacerts.jks

Ciao

Hi @N.Yusof,

Thank you for asking your question on Community. While I can't specifically answer your question, I did reach out to our Docs team to see if we can get that Doc page updated to provide more info on what Controller Certs are/how to get them. I will update this thread when I have information to share.
