I dont have DB agent in my environment. However DB is detected in backend call. I want to set high level DB monitoring like DB availability. Is it possible? If yes, what would be the metric I need to use.
Are you asking if you can monitor a database without buying a database monitoring agent? If so it may be possible using one of the extensions, assuming you have a machine agent on the database server.
