Deepdive on Appdynamic lite

I'm new to appdynamics and would like to have a deep dive using appdynamics lite. Is appdynamics lite free to use?

Also can some post a detailed guide on controller on-premise installation using appdynamics lite?

There is a free trial version of Appd that is Saas. If you wish to use an on-prem trial version, it is suggested you contact AppD for more information.
