We are planning to install controller 21.x. Is is possible to use Oracle as controller database instead MySQL ?

I see Oracle listed, but check it out to make sure it still works for you.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for getting back to us. Actually, we are trying to find out if we can use Oracle as controller database instead of MySQL. AppDynamics controller comes with embedded MySQL database. We are trying to find out whether we can use Oracle db for controller instead of MySQL i.e., AppD controller will archive metrics in the Oracle db instead MySQL.

It will be appreciated if you can provide information on  controller db.
