I have observed that during a day the node clean process is executed. Can we execute it in a determined number of times?

Hi @Anonymous

Are you looking for the following properties?

node.permanent.deletion.period: Time (in hours) after which a node that has lost contact with the Controller is deleted permanently from the system.

node.retention.period: Time (in hours) after which a node that has lost contact with the Controller is deleted.

These are the node activity global settings that the root AppDynamics administrator can modify from the administration console.

For further details, see the documentation. Let us know if it helped.

Thank you Radhika!, I just used the property node.retention period in order to clean the old nodes and it works perfectly in combination with reuse name... now the number of nodes have decreased considerably.
