Can we do EUM monitoring without reverse proxy server in on-premise

Hi All,

I need to know about EUM monitoring. Can we can set up End-user monitoring without a reverse proxy server in an on-premise setup or not.

If not possible, it is necessary that the reverse proxy server should be in the DMZ zone.
