hi,
can we use ldap user authentication in splunk cloud? just like splunk enterprise.
thank you.
Yes - you will need to open up a support ticket so that this can be discussed with your team as to what is required, the pros/cons pitfalls etc. Specific ports will need to be opened, etc. But all in all, yes, we have customers running LDAP in Cloud.
That being said, if you have a SAML SSO solution, that is a much better way to integrate SSO to your Splunk Cloud instance. With v6.5.x we support any IdP that is SAML 2.0 compliant. If it is an IdP that we have not integrated with before in the past, we will work with you to get it set up, then document how it was done. If it is one that we've integrated with before, we'll simply send you information on how to get it up and running, and assist you in the integration if required.

hi again;
i've sent a few e-mails to splunk but , i couldn't get any reply.(actually i got but they've forwarded my e-mail to their turkey partner and the partner don't help me and only send me splunk's doc site links but i want the answers and solutions) i'm waiting for any information about using ldap with splunk still.
Was a case created in your customer portal in Splunk? Or were e-mails just sent?
@pgreer thank you for your reply. i'll open up a support ticket as soon as possible.
