hi...
I know that the google maps add-on uses geoip lite license...
Is it possible to change that to enterprise non-free license and still use it in the same add-on?

You should be able to use the commercial GeoIP database. Just replace the database file in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/maps/bin/GeoLiteCity.dat with the commercial database file.

I found the license information under: $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/maps/MAXMIND_LICENSE.txt
Is this the right path to change the license of GeoLite to GeoIP..??
