I have used splunk sdk - 1.5.0.0 and while running it in IDE(Intellij) with java 6, java7 and java8 it works fine. But when the same java code is run via jnlp file then connection to spliunk fails with java7 and java8 whereas it works with java 6.

Code used
HttpService.setSslSecurityProtocol(SSLSecurityProtocol.TLSv1_2);

ServiceArgs loginArgs = new ServiceArgs();
loginArgs.setHost("myhost");
loginArgs.setPort(8090);
loginArgs.setUsername("abc");
loginArgs.setPassword("abc123");

Service service = Service.connect(loginArgs);

While working this code via jnlp throws error with java 7 and java8
stackTrace=java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Empty cookie header string
