A lot of our Windows UF are getting this message in Windows Event Logs, "Splunk could not get the description for this event". Does anyone know why?
@andrew_burnett Restart Splunk service on one of the hosts. If it works, reconfigure Splunk service start mode to delayed. This will ensure that splunk doesnt start before the event logging service.
What about the ones where that doesn’t fix it?
