Hello,

We have installed splunk in one of our new servers. everything is fine we can access to web UI but we cannot see login and logout option in the UI. we did not change any default configs. Please let me know if anyone have any idea about this.
(Account setting option in UI)

Thanks.

Hi sathwikr076,

sounds like you have Splunk Enterprise with a free license running https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Admin/TypesofSplunklicenses#Free_license
The free license does not support authentication and therefore there is no login or logout option.

Hope this helps ...

cheers, MuS
