SSLv3 certificate error

from the cluster master I select validate configuration bundle and after some time i recieve below error message:
"Bundle validation is in progress".
and in splunk logs it is giving below error

SSLCommon - Received fatal SSL3 alert. ssl_state='SSLv3 read client key exchange A', alert_description='certificate unknown'
WARN  HttpListener - Socket error from 1x.x.1xx.x while idling: error:14094416:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert certificate unknown

Are you having bundle validation issues at the moment?

If you have installed your own self-signed certificate it would need to be trusted by a well known CA. Please see here for self-signed certificate installation.

More information about the issue would be helpful i.e. is the bundle validation failing, if so, what is the error message?
