Is there a way to require a Client Certificate from client browser to SplunkWeb?

How would this look?

I have been able to find how to do this for internal Splunk communications, but not external connections.

The answer is "no". Splunkweb cannot be configured to require the browser to present a client certificate.

There is a whole chapter in the Securing Splunk manual about securing communication between the browser and Splunk Web, have you looked at that?
