IOError: [Errno 30] Read-only file system

I am not able to get into splunkwebGUI.

When i type the splunkwebGUI address in browser it is showing me following error:

IOError: [Errno 30] Read-only file system: '/opt/splunk/var/run/splunk/session-dde9fc7133cdc93e076757d02eeefba734998501.lock'

I am not sure what the error is , can anyone please help me by telling hw to resolve this.

looks like your 'splunkweb' process owner does not have write permission on that folder. check filesystem permission von /opt/splunk/var/run/splunk/
