I am new to Splunk: Splunk web not starting. Found error in the logs.

For some reason, your machine is crossing the streams between Python 2.7 packaged with Splunk and Python 3.5 installed on your machine. Make sure there is no locally installed Python presented to Splunk as a default (environment variables etc.).
