C# SDK - System.Xml.XmlException for LogOnAsync

I compiled the SDK and tried logging on but when I set the service object, I get a System.Xml.XmlException because the page starts with

<!

instead of

<!--

so line 1, pos 3 (where I would expect the two tacs to follow the exclamation point) causes Xml to throw an exception.

svc = new Service(new Uri("https://servername:8888/"));
await svc.LogOnAsync(username, password);

Short of editing the comment to include the tacs, anyone have another resolution?

I had to set the port to 8089 for the service to resolve this exception.
