Alert Triggers, can I have more than one of a certain trigger type?

Greetings,

I'm setting up an alert and I noticed that for each alert trigger, only 1 of each trigger type is allowed.  For example, you can select 1 email and log 1 event.  But once I choose a certain type, I can't choose it again.  What if I want the trigger to log n many events?  Is this allowed somewhere?

Right now, Splunk allows only 1 of each alert type. What is your use case for having more than one?
