Admin access to specific app

Hi,

i would like to give admin access to specific user 'Admin' access to specific app, how do i accomplish that?

Hi @SS1 

You can create a new role inherits from user/power user role and assign to user that required admin access. Inheriting from admin role gives wider access which is not recommended. All these config goes into authorize.conf inside <app>/local dir

To further restrict on individual object level you can configure in default.meta under metadata dir of app. Refer this link - Set permissions using RBAC | Documentation | Splunk Developer Program
