AWS Add On - SSL Validation Failed Error

SplunkDash
Motivator

Hello,

When I was trying to Add Account under AWS Configuration from SPLUNK UI, getting "SSL validation failed for https://*.amazonaws.com [SSL_CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate" error message. Any recommendation will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

What is your SSL server cert configured as?

Can you read the output of that cert using openssl? (if using the default cert)

openssl x509 -in /opt/splunk/etc/auth/server.pem -text -noout
