Hi ALL,

Where in server ( conf file - NOT UI ) can I check the AD Group to Roles mapping?

I can see this entire 200 list under this in UI -->

Access controls » Authentication method » LDAP strategies » LDAP Groups

BUT WHERE IN THE SERVER CAN I VIEW THIS LIST??

I have a clustered environment. I randoomly checked in One SH in authentication and authorize files and I found only the LDAP strategies mapping.

Hi Harishma,

You can find LDAP settings and role mapping information in authentication.conf.

For detailed info, please see documentation: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.5.1/Admin/Authenticationconf#Map_roles

Hope this helps. Thanks!
