so currently i have this query in a report

host=safemail*prod* source=/var/log/safemail/mailproxy.log (event="pool-enter" OR event="pool-exit") total_waiting > 50

it will give me a list of events but I also wan to include a graph inside this report, how would i do that?

Start by thinking about what kind of graph you want to produce. What information is it going to transfer to the viewer?

Your query produces a list of events where a field called total_waiting > 50.

What is the important characteristic of those events? Is it the number of them per unit of time?

I fear to say its not possible because the constraint visualizations and report view can be done only by creating a dashboard

@kiamco seems like you need to create a dashboard.
