email address from LDAP

Is there any means to import a user's email address from LDAP?

common name (cn) pulled in fine, but can't find if / how to import the mail LDAP attribute.

Splunk (as of 4.1 at least) cannot pull email addresses from LDAP. But, (as of 4.1) it has no need / use for them. I don't know if this changes in 4.2 or not.
