Why are pie charts disabled in report builder?

New install, version 4.1.3. I'm trying to build some reports based on customer searches, and I'm unable to choose "pie chart" from the report builder drop down, it's greyed out along with bar, ratio, bubble and scatter charts. How can these be enabled?

Report builder will disable the pie chart option in cases where it thinks its not a valid option for your search, for instance if its a timechart or if it has a chart or stats command with multiple series.

However it sounds like maybe its just wrong in this case or its being overly cautious. What's your search?
