PDF file "could not open"

i am getting the following error message when i open the pdffile

"Adobe Reader could not open 'xxxx.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as email Attachement and was not correctly decoded) "

You can use the following steps to prevent PDF file from being corrupted...

  1. Click Add file button to add a file.
  2. Select PDF file from the dialog box
  3. In the Add file dialog box, click Advanced button.
  4. Set File Type to Binary in the combo box.
